Women are Own Mistress

Men since time immemorial have searched for or have invented reasons to claim women as their property like cows and horses. There is nothing new in that, even now, many societies declare women as property of their nation, fathers and husbands! Women have to act as per as their society, nation, religion, father or husbands demand them to! Otherwise they are legally punished or stoned in public!

India was one of those countries that has given women a dignified status since its independence in 1947, not only that it had the first lady prime minister ages ago whereas USA have just elected its first lady vice president [not president yet] this year [2020] and quite often the Indian courts have revered rights of women as human beings, tried to clearly tell the society that women are human beings with full rights to do whatever they want as long as that is not illegal.

If the Love Zihad law sees light of day it will be a slap on the face of any woman like me who thinks my body is my body, my existence is mine, it is not owned by my religion, society or my parents [not married so husband does not comes in scene]! It is MINE and I will decide what I will do with my body or existence as long as it is not immoral in my eyes. If I feel like it I will marry a Martian and convert to his religion and leave earth and live with him in Mars, that is no business of anyone else Martian or earthling.

U.P. Government has in its law demanded minimum two month notice to be given before anyone can change her religion, so that they can most probably be arm-twisted into changing their opinions!

In the name of Love Zihad law Madhya Pradesh government is trying to turn women in properties again, no wonder we are reading news of atrocities against women every week originating from that state, if the government believes that women are owned properties its subject will believe worse! The next state singing in the tune is everybody’s favorite U.P. Govt. It has sunk lower than middle ages. There the gruesome monstrosities against women are rising in leaps and bounds, and the ones that are caught or charged are Hindu men. How much our men adore our women! In our much revered, appreciated, adored administration a seventeen year old or six year old girl are equally safe! Boy! That state’s administration is material of nightmares! So is its police department!

If you live in Bareily and are planning to marry someone who is not religiously or caste-wise compatible beware, because couples who do that in Bareily often end up dead. In two years or so 38 couple who have committed that audacity have ended up dead! Or the cops will jail you both and whip you, belt you, these two also have happened. A couple was picked up by cops and belted by COPS in U.P. for marrying out of their religion, and another groom and his brother are now rotting in jail! Where is this country heading? While its people are in a godi-media induced coma? Or are like ostriches!

Hindu men instead of trying to drag their women back into caves in vain should start looking at themselves as the root of the problem, why the hell will a hindu girl be interested in marrying a Muslim man after knowing all the chains that are bound around their women? The life of a Muslim woman is not at all lucrative or desirable to a Hindu woman-period! Maybe you should stop thinking that you are better than women, stop taking dowries, stop harassing wives if they give birth to girls [you are the one responsible for that not her!].

Think about what you have done to them in past – Kaulinya pratha when a dying man married a child for money and left her a widow to suffer for the rest of her life, yes marriage was a business back then for Hindu men they married by dozens, gathered money from one father and went out to marry another, supported by the society. The women waited for the visit of their revered spouses that came to them whenever they felt like, some never saw them after marriage. What a delicious life!

Then there were those who were burnt alive with their dead husbands, don’t forget satipratha, no matter how you try to glamorize it, it is still murder most gruesome!

Then there are/were abuses of women in marital home, by husbands, in-laws on one pretext or other. That has not changed!

How about changing your own nature instead of acting like a caveman?

This law hopefully won’t see light of day because it is against fundamental rights if I am not wrong. It is frightening that it was conceived by a group of bipedal creatures that claim to be human beings in 2020!
